Svartur sem kol, dimmri en nóttin. Framleitt úr umhverfisvænna "Natureworks Ingeo 4043D PLA" sem er einnig framleitt í Bandaríkjunum. Framleiðslan er eins vistvæn og kostur er. Ekkert vatn er notað við framleiðsluna eins og hjá flestum öðrum framleiðendum og efnið er forþurrkað áður en það er sett á umhverfisvænar endurvinnanlegum pappaspólum.

Endurunna kolsvarta Proto Pasta PLA-ið felur betur laglínur og hefur ögn af sanseringu sem gerir það einkar áhugavert.
