Vökvaprentarar

Vökvaprentarar (SLA) nota prentvökva (Resin) sem er hertur með ljós (UV) til að búa til þrívíddarhlut eitt lag í einu. Það næst mun meiri nákvæmni í resin prentun heldur en FFF/FDM prenturum sem er prentun með prentþráðum. Resin prentun er gerð með hættulegum efnum og þarf mikið að þrífa og huga að réttu vinnuflæði.

Eftir prentun þarf að þvo prentverkin með Isapropanol eða öðrum viðeigandi hreinsiefnum. Eftir þvott þarf að herða prentverkin með UV ljósi. það er þægilegast að notast við þvotta- og herslustöðvar (Wash & Cure station).

Prent vökvinn er með sterkri lykt og góð loftræsting nauðsynleg og hentar því ekki að nota í íbúðum. Það þarf að umgangast allt í kringum vökvaprentun með viðeigandi hlífðarbúnað s.s. hlífðargleraugum, hönskum, grímu o.þ.h.
