TPU - Mjúk efni

TPU er hitaþolið pólýúretan er sveigjanlegt prentefni með frábæra vinnsluhæfni og sérstaka teygjanlega eiginleika. Fæst í tveimur mismunandi skölum á harðleika (Shore Hardness) A og D skali. Erum með fjölbreytt úrval af TPU frá Polymaker, Recreus, add:north, Extrudr og PrimaCreator. TPU þarf öllu jafna að prenta hægar en PLA, TPU er efnaþolið og ágætlega hitaþolið, hentar því t.d. í varahluti í vélahúsi ökutækja. Framleiðendur mæla með því að þurrka TPU efni fyrir prentun, en rakinn á Íslandi hefur almennt ekki eins mikil áhrif og erlendis.
